Early Childhood & Youth Supports
Building strong foundations. Creating brighter futures.
Melbourne Quality Care Services provides specialised supports for children aged 0–6 and young people aged 12–25 to learn, grow, build skills and thrive. Together, we empower every child and young person to reach their full potential.
What Are Early Childhood & Youth Supports?
At Melbourne Quality Care Services (MQCS), we provide specialised support for children living with disability, developmental delays and additional support needs.
Our Early Childhood Support focuses on helping children aged 0–6 years build confidence, develop essential life skills and achieve important developmental milestones through evidence-based and family-centred approaches.
We understand that every child develops differently. That’s why our team works closely with families, educators, therapists and support networks to create personalised supports that help children learn, grow and thrive.
Our goal is to build lifelong foundations of confidence, safety, independence and learning through early and targeted intervention.
Early Childhood Supports (0–6 Years)
- Early Childhood Intervention: Helping children aged 0–6 reach developmental milestones through evidence-based programs.
- Therapeutic Supports: Access to speech therapy, occupational therapy, and emotional regulation coaching.
- Inclusive Education Support: Tailored help with school readiness and mainstream education integration.
- Out-of-Home Care Support: Services for children needing safe and supportive placement alternatives.
- Family-Centred Practices: Involving families in planning, decision-making, and daily progress.
We aim to build lifelong foundations of confidence, safety, and learning through early and targeted support.
Youth Supports (12–25 Years)
- Life Skills Development: Training in budgeting, meal preparation, travel skills, and workplace readiness.
- Mental Health & Recovery Support: Access to psychosocial recovery coaching tailored for young people.
- Community Engagement: Programs connecting young people to education, employment, volunteering, recreation, and peer groups.
- Support for Care Leavers: Helping young people leaving Out-of-Home Care transition successfully to independent living.
- Youth Mentoring: Building positive role models and encouraging confidence and self-belief.
We walk alongside young people as they set goals, explore pathways, and grow into their best selves.
